Khabir Southwick (58) maintains a private health-care practice and herb clinic in Ojai, California. In the last 26 years, he has helped thousands of people to naturally overcome a wide range of health conditions and improve their physical and mental well-being. Within his private practice, Khabir is offering clients individualized dietary and lifestyle guidelines as-per Ayurveda, wholefood nutritional therapy, Ayurvedic & Western herbal treatments along with traditional home remedies.

Throughout the year, Khabir maintains his private practice while making time to travel overseas, where he speaks on Natural Healthcare and Ayurveda. He also teaches courses for practitioners on Clinical Ayurveda and leads Panchakarma retreats in Kerala, India.
In the past, he has been invited to teach nutrition at various colleges including at Ventura College (2016); regularly spoke at Whole Foods Markets in Santa Barbara (2014-16)and Oxnard Whole Foods (2017), California; provided over 20 health classes at Rainbow Bridge Health Food Store in Ojai (2016-2017), California and provided regular health lectures at the Holistic Health Center of Santa Barbara, California (2014-2016).
In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), he has taught and provided appointments in Dubai at The House of Om, Eco Yoga Studio, Heart and Soul Spa and Dhyana Yoga and Pilates Center; and at Change Works and The Hot House Health and Fitness Club in Abu Dhabi.
As a Registered Professional Ayurvedic Continuing Education (PACE) Provider by Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America (AAPNA) he annually leads sponsored intensive Ayurveda Training Workshops with certification in Kerala, India. Details of upcoming courses in India.

Born a natural childbirth in Tucson Arizona, 1962, Khabir was raised as a lacto-vegetarian by health-conscious parents, who began educating him about nutrition and hatha yoga at an early age. As a teenager, Khabir was providing medicinal teas and massage therapy. He went on to study western herbal medicine (1978) and the traditional nutritional sciences (1981). He pursued advanced studies in northern India (1983) to study clinical Ayurveda health-care (kayachikitsa) and detoxification (panchakarma). Due to the kindness of various Ayurvedic doctors in India (1984-1998), he received clinical training and knowledge. In Khabir's extensive travels, he has visited over 60 countries worldwide with considerable time spent in Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, India, South Africa, France, and Morocco.
Over the last 6 years, with the support of multiple sponsors, Khabir has organized four levels of Ayurvedic training courses for beginning and existing practitioners, held annually for the past 4 years in Kerela, India. Details of India Workshops.
